Mark as Useful They always ask for me by name but I do not know who they are. The one time I asked her to take me off of her list, she said it was regarding a grant. I told the woman I didn't want it and asked her again to take me off of her list. That was yesterday. I have received 4 calls from them since 8 o'clock this morning. I have read other things saying that they have told other people they are calling about timeshares, business moves, and other random things. I do not appreciate them calling, especially when I am at work.

Mark as Useful I received a call at work stating that a legal affidavit had been filed against me and that I had three counts of fraud against me for failure to repay a cash loan from an internet site. The Indian speaking guy stated that they had placed the funds in my account and when he went to get them out, he was unable to because "the payment was declined". He started the conversation by asking for my lawyer's name. He provided me with the last four digits of my social and stated that I had ignored emails from them that provided me with the information. When I began to question him, he hung up. I tried calling him back and after some time, he called me back to say that they would be sending a police out to arrest me and that I would understand the charges when they arrived. He would not give me ay information on the company nor the place where the filing took place.
